Patches was our beloved Shih Tzu. She was 18 years and 10 days old when she cross the Rainbow Bridge. She was more than our pet. She was my salvation, sticking by my side during a nasty divorce, a tree falling on my house, the diagnosis of a grandson having DMD, the loss of my dad and so many other things. She was ever faithful. She passed from severe renal failure. Connie Mack was our rescue boxer. Gosh! What to say about Connie Mack? He was an athlete, he was a champion. I was never afraid when I was alone for he was my right hand protector. He loved children and they loved him. He was gentle and even the frailest felt safe with him. We had 12-1/2 wonderful years with him. It was our honor to be his mommy and daddy and on January 13, 2016 he crossed the Rainbow Bridge after a valiant fight with a malignant brain tumor. We have huge holes left behind by these 2 precious friends. I only hope you have the change to bring a fur friend into your life that can bless you as these 2 blessed us. They were different (Shih Tzu and Boxer - 11 pounds and 55 pounds) but they loved each other to their last breaths. We miss you our friends.
