Huckleberry came into our lives when I happened upon a German Shepherd mix on Petfinder. He had the sweetest face, and even though my husband originally said "NO". I kept obsessing about him, and eventually stopped talking to my husband! So naturally, we got the pup! LOL...as a rescue from the Kalkaska area, Hucky settled in quickly with his two brothers.
He was most likely around 9 or so when we adopted him, so.I didn't know how much time we'd have. We had him for three wonderful years before he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. He was sweet, friendly, stinky and hairy and i wouldn"t have changed a thing!!! I miss you sweet boy. You will alwaus be my son.
