My beautiful boy Zeus, only had him for three years from a puppy. Tragically got the news.. My friend was fatally hit by a car. I got a call saying my boy has sadly passed, I didn't believe it. I got off the phone & all that came to my head was his beautiful face & his pointy ears telling me he needs my guidance. I went to pick him up off the side of the road, it was the saddest day of my life, there he was laying in a ditch, I couldn't even look at him. He felt so stiff & his eyes were open as his ears remained up. I remember just laying at his side weeping and weeping to the point where I couldn't control it & I didn't know who I was anymore & that I have lost a very special part of me that I may never retrieve back. I told him how much I was grateful & thank you so much for the wonderful times we shared together that are now treasured in my heart & thank you for having to put up with me, as he still walks through me this very moment with his paw prints on my heart. I just want to let him know that one day I will see him again as we will never be parted again, that I miss him so much it hurts to think & that he has left someone very special that had to stay behind. I will never get over this, but also going to be happy & do my time just for him, until the time is right. I hope he feels the same but with joy and happiness.
