Penny was a beautiful Border Collie-English Springer Spaniel mix. My grandmother got her for my 10th birthday. She was very special to all of us. Penny was especially important in our family when my grandfather began struggling with dementia. As his condition worsened he remained connected with her and she would always make him smile and be happy. We all loved her so much and miss her everyday.
