I lost my best friend Lazie on the 8th of April. She was 15.5 years old when she left, but I always thought she would live forever. She had health problems all her life including a heart murmur. The vet never thought she would live this long, but she had a will to live. It happened quick, in the matter of 2-3 days she stopped eating and barely drinking. The fact she wouldn't eat a schmako or lick peanut butter from my dad's finger which carried her medicine, told us it was time. We took her to the vet, I almost hoped he would say she was fine, but he said she most likely had a tumor in the bladder and now was the best time to let her go. But as he was checking her heart, he said she no longer had a heart murmur, and that to us was a miracle. I miss you more then anything Lazie, and I can't wait to see you in heaven
