Ice was a foster that never left. He was big and awesome and majestic. This magnificent dog slept next to my bed at night and made me feel safe. His capacity for unconditional love was boundless. He goes to meet all my pets that have passed before him. There will be a big crowd running across the bridge for me and he will be with them. In the mean time, I'm sure he's running in the snow as far as he can go.
