Last Tues we had to say good-bye to our beautiful Emmie. She was aprox 13 years old, we rescued her when she was around 3-4 yrs old. She was our first baby. I've never had to put a pet to sleep before but she was suddenly suffering severe seizures, a probable stroke as well. Tests ran that it was a neurological problem, most likely a brain tumor. There was nothing to do but to end her suffering. I feel so guilty because I couldn't bare to be with her while they put her to sleep but my husband did. I held her all day until that time. I hope she understood mommy couldn't watch her take her last breath & that I loved her with all my heart. God Bless you sweet Emmie, may the rainbow bridge bring you endless happiness & joy. We will always love you & never forget you. My best memories are how you loved to ride in the car, looking out the window just like a dog... boy did we get some odd looks lol. We went to the Pottery Place today & pained you a special urn. Goodbye Emmie, Love Mom & Dad
