Buddy was a beautiful 13-year-old German Shepherd mix. Who sadly left this earth on November 28, 2016. She was surrounded by loved ones at her time of death.
Buddy was adopted from a shelter in Virginia by the Nemecek Family at one year of age- She was a loving companion at "first sight". -Chris Nemecek (her father recalls).
Sadly, it is assumed that before her adoption her childhood was not positive due to the anxiety and behavioral difficulties she had throughout her life. But, we loved her all the same - her imperfections were perfection in our eyes. “She was an empath - always knowing when I was upset or had a rough day. With just one look or placement of her paw on me...I knew everything was going to be okay.” ---Elisabeth Beardall-Nemecek.
Buddy loved car rides, McDonald's fries, tummy rubs, being pampered at the spa, treats, Netflix and chill, and trips to Petco. She is preceded in death by her brothers Comet (dog) and Furball (cat).
Buddy is survived by Christopher Nemecek and Elisabeth Beardall-Nemecek (mother and father), Athena (sister), Luna (sister), and The Countess (sister), also the extended Nemecek and Beardall family who loved Buddy with their whole hearts.
I know Buddy would love to leave these last words – “Please adopt a pet like me – do not shop. Take a chance on the dogs and cats who look scared at the adoption clinics, the ones who are not purebred, the ones that need that extra level of attention and are not puppies and kitties. Because, I promise you…that those animals will love you forever…if only given that chance.”
