BO showed up at our house the fall of 2013. My husband started feeding him and from that moment on he stayed in our yard. Then started coming in the house and finally a permanent member of the family. Not knowing anything about BO, we took him to the vet and kept up with shots, vaccines and treatment of early stage of heart worms. He was healthy and such a delight. Loved going on walks and being rocked like a baby. Christmas Eve 2016 he was laying with me at the foot of my recliner. He raised up, made a coughing sound and rolled off the chair onto the floor. My husband held his head and was talking to him as I called the vet, 911 anyone I could reach out to fast. BO whimpered once and his heart stopped beating. The vet said it was a heart attack. I prayed and prayed for God not to take my baby. We laid him on his fluffy pillow, laid his new Christmas coat on top of him and then covered him with his favorite purple throw. He stayed in the house with us until Christmas morning and then we had his funeral. Just me, Daddy and Bo. He was the delight of our life. He gave us so much joy. We think he was a Australian Shepherd dog or Feist not absolutely certain. Doesn't matter. He was our baby. Left us way to soon.
